Matys, officially the Republic of Matys is a country comprising the Matysian continent, the island of Plinae, the _ Islands, and numerous smaller islands between North America and Europe. It is linked culturally and politically with Europe and consists of 12 states, 2 autonomous states, and a federal capital district (Greater Ultima). The continent of which the majority of the country resides in, Matys, is the world's smallest continent by area but the sixth most populous, the country having a combined population of 192 million, making it the eighth most populated country in the world. Matys is a federal semi-presidential republic with its capital in Ultima, the country's largest city and main cultural and commercial center.
